What is happening with my data on the equipment?

During the purchase process, Foxway performs a professional data erasure on all devices. In this process, all personal data that you have transferred to the device will be deleted. The operating system is once again fully upgraded, so that no data can remain unused. Foxway uses both national and international experience of the world market leader in the process of data processing of electronic devices.

Sustainability by reducing CO2 emissions

By selling your used device, you support the sustainable circular economy and give your device a second life. Foxway refurbishes these devices and puts them back into circulation. In addition to professional data erasure, this means that all smartphones, tablets, etc. are repaired and reset. This saves energy and many resources that would be used in the manufacture of new devices at the expense of the environment. As a result, it also reduces your carbon footprint. We have already calculated what emissions we avoid by recycling per device:

Our offer covers a wide range of old devices. For instance, we accept smartphones and tablets from Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, and nearly all manufacturers. Check via “Get started” to see if your device model is included.

After successfully registering your old device for trade-in, you will receive the necessary information for the sale of your old device as well as the required shipping label by email.

If you use the shipping label provided by Foxway, shipping is free and insured. See Foxway’s terms and conditions of purchase.

You can send an old device without the original packaging and accessories, except for the parts necessary for its use, such as the charging adapter, the charging case on smartwatches, earphones for example, which must of course be sent with the device.

No, please remove any existing activation locks (e.g. removal of an existing Google account, Apple iCloud account, etc.) before sending the old device to Foxway, otherwise it will not be usable and will have no purchase value.

Caution: A factory reset does not automatically deactivate the activation lock!

Check the support pages of your old device manufacturer to find out how to remove/deactivate the activation lock.

Before sending your device, you should save your personal data elsewhere and reset your old device to factory settings or erase your personal data. Please refer to the instruction manual of your device.

Once the old device has been received, Foxway will carry out a mandatory data deletion. From that moment on, it will no longer be possible to make your data available to you.

The price will be paid by means of a Media Markt gift card via email.

This gift card can be used as a means of payment in any Media Markt shop in Spain or through the online shop https://mediamarkt.de.
